Today we have Doyle W. Donehoo at microphone. This composer isn't well known to gamers because of only few released projects (America's Army, Savage 2, Sniper: Path of Vengeance, Black Stone: Magic & Steel), but we are pretty sure this situation will change with release of Relic's blockbuster Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War II. Soundtrack for original game was written by Jeremy Soule and that's kinda interesting what music awaits us in its sequel. Well, let's go!

Another Russian game receives
Jeremy Soule as composer – that’s what
Underwater Wars developers say. Part of the story (near future, NATO vs Asian group, underwater secret missions) and engine specs are known for the current moment. You can check some info like screenshots and engine demo movie at the official site.
Now, let’s talk about Jeremy. His participation was confirmed right before the game went to the Leipzig’s Game Convention to show people alpha-version with some levels. Remember, that Jeremy means orchestra and that’s intriguing how the hi-tech spy game will combine with symphonic music. We’ll see it in 2009. Underwater Wars will be released for both PC and Xbox 360.

09.06.2008 Jeremy Soule scores IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey
Console players now have opportunity to taste one of the best World War II flight simulators - long-lived series IL-2 Sturmovik. Developed by Gaijin Entertainment IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey based around the large-scale aerial combat and ground military operations of World War II. Game engine produces high-end graphics, brand new damage system, which allows players to see such details like holes in the wings and trail lines during the dog fights, and battles with hundreds airplanes in the air simulationestly. Also players get over 50 missions from historical battles that will take place in Great Britain, Stalingrad, Berlin, Sicily and Korsun', plane customization and flexible difficulty system – from arcade to full simulation.
What is really interesting, that game will features music by
Jeremy Soule. It is for the first time, when Russian game have foreign world class composer. Debut game trailer with sample of soundtrack can be found on

IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey will be released in 2009 for the X360, PS3, PSP, NDS.
