The hot awaited album with music from Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be released on November 15.

And now the bad news: fears were confirmed and the soundtrack will be released on one disc. So fans of the game will only get as twice as much music compared to the promo sampler from the limited edition game selection, in which even episodically the music is not represented form many locations the game (there is no theme of police department and so on).

The official tracklist is poor and strange. In particular, there are track names with numbers such as Part 1, which immediately leads to the logical question: if there is a track with number one, then where to get following-up with number two? It is also noticeable no one apparently tried to master tracks of general subject into a single suites and from a single mastered track we can only see the expanded (probably - artificially stretched) version of Hung Hua Brothel. It is too superficial debriefing, because timing is not yet known, but considering only one disk and the number of tracks, not difficult to make a disappointing conclusion: the music is taken from the game "as is".

Quite a pity, considering how long fans have been waiting for the announcement of the soundtrack and hoped for a double album.

Eidos has released a 5-minute gameplay video of the first DLC for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, called Missing Link.

Its plot takes place on the cargo ship with unknown destination, where Jensen wakes up very bruised, without arms and with disabled augmentation. Objective is to escape from the ship, but before that take his gear back and return the lost talent.

For this DLC developers have improved the engine a bit and add the support of the various weather effects. The basic formula "Come as you want" remained unchanged. You can wipe like worm in ventilation shafts or arrange meat slaughter. The guys from Eidos Montreal promise of 5-7 hours of gameplay, which is a solid figure, not only for DLC, but for some blockbuster projects.

Will there be a new music in add-on we still  don’t known. However, a full soundtrack for the original Deus Ex also has not yet been released.

Launching the DLC is planned for October.
