Final Symphony Redux at London Barbican

We can exclusively reveal that, on May 30, 2013, the London Symphony Orchestra will perform Final Symphony will occur at the Barbican Centre in the London. The symphonic game music concert will explore the worlds and music of three games in the Final Fantasy series (VI, VII, and X) with brand new, extended arrangements. Series' composer Nobuo Uematsu and Final Fantasy X composer/arranger Masashi Hamauzu will be both attending the concert as special guests. For more info and tickets, check here.

Chiptune Albums for Final Fantasy VII - X

To celebrate Final Fantasy's 25th Anniversary, Square Enix have prepared a series of chiptune arranged albums for the franchise. Popular tracks from Final Fantasy VII to X will be covered by Sexy-Synthesizer, Kplecraft, and BOKKADENcI, among others. The albums will be first released at a Japan event this weekend, but will later be commercially available worldwide.

Guests Announced for Final Symphony

We recently exclusively revealed that a new concert Final Symphony would celebrate Final Fantasy music. To premiere on May 11, 2013 in Wuppertal, the concert will explore the worlds and music of three games in the series with brand new, extended arrangements.
