As you remember the main theme for the original Dragon Age: Origins was written specifically for the game by famous American rock band 30 Seconds to Mars and now the head of the EA music department, Steve Schnur, has decided to slightly raise the standard and got a Grammy nominee for the game - a team called Florence + The Machine. Guys play indie-pop, rock, soul, blues, and some related genres.

Specially for new game Inon Zur remade their song I'm Not Calling You a Liar where he brought into play all the power of symphony orchestra. A very famous guy - Jack Joseph Puig - is responsible for mixing of the song. He has worked with many groups, some of the most famous are, perhaps, U2, Rolling Stones, No Doubt and Green Day. For his deeds he was awarded a Grammy, and now, and it's especially nice, he will devotes himself to the service of the video game industry. Naturally, the song will be exclusive Dragon Age II and won’t be released separately from the game.

The Dragon Age II soundtrack will be released very soon in the form of 3 albums. On March 8 will be available 12-track sampler (which is already in our database with demo tracks). Additional tracks will be released like two sets on April 12 and May 10 respectively. Those who pre-order Dragon Age II Bioware Signature Edition, will take the music like a gift.

It so happened that in Dragon Age’s universe, mechanics and design there’s absolutely nothing new. Besides that, all the elements of the universe, the game itself and all accompanying things are designed on such a high level that the Witcher’s developers will have to work hard when making a sequel.
