The main composers of Borderlands have returned to score the sequel: Jesper Kyd, Sascha Dikiciyan, and Cris Velasco. The team hybridised numerous styles while producing the score in order to match the game's space western setting and fast-paced action. The game's official soundtrack will be released by Sumthing Else Music Works on September 18, the same day as the game.
