Record label SuperSweep have confirmed to us that they are publishing the soundtrack to the GameCube's Mega Man Network Transmission. Scored by Shinji Hosoe, Ayako Saso, and Yousuke Yasui back in 2003, the soundtrack generated considerable acclaim on release. However, SuperSweep were unable to receive the rights to publish it till now. Nearly a decade later, the soundtrack will be released on November 30 for 2625 JPY.
Qute Corporation, developer of Eschatos, are preparing to release a new retro shoot-'em-up later this year: Ginga Force. This time, the game's soundtrack will be composed by an ensemble team of shooter veterans. Several SuperSweep members will contribute to the title, including Yousuke Yasui, Shinji Hosoe, and Ayako Saso, as will Yasuhisa Watanabe and Hiroto Saitoh. Readers can get a taste of the game and its music by checking the trailer here. Details have yet to be announced regarding a soundtrack release.
