Well-known Finnish composer/sound designer Ari Pulkkinen has just shared with us some of his musical achievements and plans on the future.

First of allб we were right – he is really working on sequel of magic Trine. Right now music in pre-production stage while game plan to be released in March 2011. Also, Ari works on sound and music of 3D-platformer Outland, which will be released by Ubisoft on Xbox Live and PSN. Outland game mechanics based on color swaping, something likes in Ikaruga, where player have to switch color of its defense field from black to white to absorb enemy bullets of the same color.

Next, American version of Playstation official blog have interviewed Ari about zombie shooter Dead Nation, for which Finnish musician made sound and music. Also, there you can find Dead Nation main theme. Check it out.

And, now we know who made music and sound for tremendously popular Angry Birds. Of course, it’s Ari!

Shadow Grounds soundtrack have just slacken its dashing on our weak minds, when other piece of music is approaching - Shadow Grounds Survivor. Its direct sequel to the first game... 3 fully customizable protagonists and their widely upgradable implements (pistols, machine guns, gattlings etc.). Still have unused fingers on your hands? Wanna drive a walking excavator? Actually, that's a mechs, but who cares... Anyway you're welcome to do this ingame as well as dozens of other interesting stuff. The ultimate gaming experience also includes brand new soundtrack composed by Ari Pulkkinen and that's really cool. The game is scheduled to be released at the mid... nah! most possibly the end of 2007, so tighten your belts...

Ah... Shadow Grounds... The Original Soundtrack been released with a separate disc, what's pretty unusual for Finland, ya know. OST is a true molotov cocktail mixed of orchestrations, ambient, evil industrial tunes as a fuel and... guest star guitarist Amen with his skullcracking guitar riffs as a fire. This guy been summoned in order to participate in recording sessions right from now widely known finnish heavy-metal band Lordi... those guys won Eurovision 2006 with their "Hard Rock Hallelujah". Sounds tasty? Turn on your ears!
