Aflare is Stuart Lawson, bursting through your speakers as an experimental electronic/rock artist from Irvine, California. Stuart, originally from South Africa, has been working on computer generated music since an early age of 6. At the age of 14 his family moved to Irvine, CA, where they started a completely new life.
During high-school in California he was part of the band and orchestra which inspired much of his songwriting techniques and skills. This new life has given Stuart the opportunity to someday reach his goal of owning his own music studio and continue to do what he loves most, make music.
Aflare is currently working on a debut album expected to be released early next year. Stuart has created a soundtrack for a computer game known as ThreadSpace: Hyperbol, from Iocaine Studios, as well as worked on several of his own music projects that range from slow melodic works to fast paced electronic dance-floor movers.
Aflare's biggest influences are artists such as Jimmy Eat World, Muse, Foo Fighters, and Death Cab for Cutie. Most of the songs featured in the upcoming debut album release are inspired by real life events, the struggles of truly living the american dream and growing up in a completely new environment.
