Geektyrant.com revealed some interesting information about
inFamous 2 composers. crucial composer of first
infamous,
Brazilian dominator of broken bits (guess who), will not return to the sequel. But nature abhors a vacuum, and the lead place will take
James Dooley, Tobin’s assistant on the original game. Also we know about another of old friend, SCEA music manager and part-time composer
Jonathan Mayer. He will assist to new composer.

One interesting feature of upcoming soundtrack is jazz-funk band
Galactic from New Orleans. Team plays about 20 years, their music has evolved from a local variation of the New Orleans funk to a more modern unique style, including elements of hip-hop, electronic, rock, blues and jazz. It seems that this choice is not accidental, because the game story will take place in the fictional town of
New Marais, whose prototype is just
New Orleans.
Also we know the musical style of the game will combine elements of jazz, funk and electronics. All this will be stick together in a very unorthodox variations and diversify by field recordings in the best traditions of the first inFamous (rubbish hip attached).Soundtrack will boast an academic music theorists: string quintet, new-orlean jazz brass quartet, and a full-sized symphony orchestra to 64 musicians. Awesome.
We know for certain the album will be released as a complete collector's edition. However, there is a strong suspicion that only in digital form, as is currently known that will be embedded in collectors edition voucher to download it. May be, it is most likely to see the disk on the
Sumthing Else label.
