If the project would collect 500 000 $ on
Kickstarter for the remaining six days.
At this moment the game contains 250 000 $ in its bank, so the situation is not so bad.
With
David Hayter (Solid Snake) and
Jennifer Hale (Naomi Hunter and FemShep) a Republique screenwriter Ryan Payton had met while working on
Metal Gear Solid 4. He was impressed with the skill and talent of the actors and their coherence, so the script is being prescribed under their roles.
David Hayter will voice the leader of the revolutionaries, while Hale will be the voice of a "Mentor", hostile to the player character with a complex ideology.
Republique originally planned for iOS, however, has recently been confirmed by the version for PC and Mac. The game takes place in a totalitarian future. Orwell&39;s "1984" novel is an inspiration for the creators. The main character receives a desperate call from a girl named Hope, located in one of the totalitarian states. She begs him to hack the security system and help her get out from the eye of the Observer.
The task of the player will be hacking and gaining control over a variety of electronic devices, from cameras till protection systems of various buildings to help get Hope. In total, the player will help the girl to get unnoticed from Big Brother, turning off the camera, light, or adjusting the elevator when it&39;s necessary, ready to take Hope away from her pursuers.
