I'm extremely excited to release the original game soundtrack to Lemonpepper Games's Kitchen Sync: Aloha!, an RPG mixed with a cooking game that explores culinary, cultural, and interpersonal relationships in modern Hawaii.  I had a really fascinating time exploring the origins and development of Hawaiian music; I ended up listening to a lot of Hawaiian music before and during my work on this soundtrack, and I really appreciate the music that Matt, the game's creator, shared with me during that time.  During this period, in what happened to be a serendipitous coincidence, I also made e-mail contact with some of my grandmother's extended family whose ancestors came to Hawaii from Hiroshima, Japan around 100 years ago.  I am really humbled to be able to contribute to this game, and I hope you're as excited as I am for its release!
