The music from the demo of the game Anodyne, which is still in development by me and Jon Kittaka. There are no actual track names because I don't think titles are appropriate at this point. Provided names are the codenames we have used throughout development, or generic titles.

01. "Title"

I wanted a warm, comforting and dreamy song to open the game with, which is where this one spawned from.

06. "Mitra (short)"

The theme of Mitra. This has a yet-to-be-done second part, but this first half is complete.

07. "Bedroom"

This placeholder name for the first dungeon comes from when I was working on the game alone, and I had planned for the player to start in an alternate version of the player's bedroom. Of course the plot and design completely changed since then, but the name stuck because I'm lazy.

This is the 4th or 5th iteration of this song, it's gone through a lot of frustrating revisions. The most out of any song so far, actually.

08. "Boss"

This song started as an "action theme" that would play when you got the broom. That was totally unfitting and eventually got used as a boss theme. The boss theme, however, was far too scratchy/energetic/upbeat and felt out of place, so I struggled to tone that down while keeping the underlying structure. This is my least favorite song and I might tweak it.

09. "Not Yet"

This was originally written for a TIGSource Musical Challenge, to compose a game over theme. Luckily, I actually needed to write one at the time!

10. "Fields"

I wanted to give a picture of a wide-open field with dreamy colors, fitting to the art style Jon wants to use. This part of the game is intended to be very calm, as well. The song plays at the end of the demo, so you can't actually see Fields yet (Sorry, folks!). This song is the first half to another song, which is not on this Demo-EP-mini-release-thingy.
