Music Details for Nintendo's Wii U Launch Games

Nintendo were responsible for developing two of the Wii U's launch games, the mini-game compilation Nintendo Land and the 2D sequel New Super Mario Bros. U. The scores for both titles combined nostalgic arrangements with bold new compositions. The music for Nintendo Land was handled by veteran sound director Hajime Wakai (Skyward Sword) and relative newcomer Ryo Nagamatsu (Mario Kart Wii). Shiho Fujii (New Super Mario Bros. Wii) and Mahito Yokota (Super Mario Galaxy) reprised their composition roles for New Super Mario Bros. U, with Koji Kondo serving as supervisor.
