Square Enix's Tokyo Game Show CD Lineup
Square Enix have announced they will be selling CDs at a special booth in the Tokyo Game Show 2012. They will sell the following items:
- <i>Final Fantasy VII Chips</i>: Features chiptune arrangements of FFVII favourites
- <i>Distant Worlds Final Fantasy Original Game Music Compilation</i>: Features the original versions of the game music adapted in the concert series <i>Distant Worlds</i>
- <i>Kingdom Hearts 10th Anniversary Fan Selection -Melodies & Memories-</i>: Features two discs of tracks from the Kingdom Hearts series, as selected by fans
- <i>Subarashiki Kono Sekai - Crossover -</i>: Features new tracks and arrangements from the iOS version of <i>The Worlds Ends With You</i>
- <i>Symphonic Fantasies Tokyo</i>: A recording of the concert. The featured music will be identical to the German release, though the booklet will differ.
- <i>Square Enix Sound Effects Collection 2</i>: Features 99 sound effects from classic Square titles
The majority of these releases will also be available through other stores before the event. However, the concert recording is currently an exclusive to the event. Those who purchase a CD will receive the <i>Square Enix Music Sampler Vol. 7</i>, featuring previews of the company's upcoming score and album releases.
