Penka Kouneva Releases Orchestral Concept Album
Bulgarian-born, Hollywood-based composer and orchestrator Penka Kouneva (Transformers series, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands) will release an original orchestral album entitled A Warrior's Odyssey. Kouneva's musical "odyssey" is inspired by the traditions of Hollywood film music and contemporary video games, but with a conceptual narrative rather than visuals. The 18 track album is arranged in the form of a classical symphony and has been recorded with experienced Hollywood instrumentalists. The album can be sampled here and will be available on October 2, as both a limited edition CD and a digital download.
