Conditionally the Russian film "The Darkest Hour" obtained a Hollywood composer.
It's surprising to see a picture, shot in Moscow with Russian actors, but non-Russian film director. However, when you see Timur Bekmambetov as one of the producers everything takes its place.
Fiction thriller will be released in Russia under the name "Phantom". It is interesting that its far-fetched translation matches with week before releasing "Mission: Impossible: The Phantom Protocol." Another bold idea of domestic localizers.
Tyler Bates, the Hollywood composer, was invited to write the soundtrack. He is known for "300", "Watchmen," "Dawn of the Dead" and the new version of "Conan the Barbarian." His new work will be published as a separate 19-track release on Lakeshore Records label.
The soundtrack will be released a week before the movie, December 13.
