Director of second film Silent Hill adaptation, Michael J. Bassett has confirmed in his blog the composer staff for the film.
As he says, Jeff Denna and Akira Yamaoka will write the music for Silent Hill 2. "Still a few details to be ironed out but I’m confident that nothing stands in the way" - said Bassett. No more specifics. Bassett, who have repeatedly reported on his blog that he was hired by the director and generally not very free man, strongly depends on the producers and has extensive information, and this time wondering how Denna and Yamaoka will work together.
It is worth noting that Yamaoka did not write the music for the first screening, but only chose the best songs on his opinion of the first four parts of the game, and film adaptation was a atsk of Denna (composer also wrote a few minutes of original music). Will it be different this time is not yet clear.
Silent Hill: Revelation 3D launches is scheduled next year.
