We can celebrate a little victory – a publisher of game soundtracks appeared in snowy Russia.
“KeepMoving Records” specializes in publishing movies’ and games’ soundtracks. The label has just started its work, so right now the choice isn’t a wide one: a few «cine» albums and 2 game disks.
Game music is represented by soundtracks of
“Sea Dogs” and
“Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales”. Music for both games was composed by
Yury Poteyenko, well-known for soundtracks from both
“Night” and
“Day” “Watches” and from the new
“Irony of Fate”. We remind that
1C had released two-disc album of “Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales” soundtrack some time ago, but being quite expensive (300 rubles or even more) and somewhat absurd (there’s the same soundtrack on both discs, but on the second one it’s in .ogg + bonus wallpapers), and having a very fair booklet stopped this edition from being wholesale. But it’s all really democratic here – customer gets fully remastered game stuff, eight-page booklet and love from the whole Redaction for the perfect purchase paying only 200 rubles.
The label is planning to release an excellent
“You Are Empty” soundtrack, which was earlier available only in Polish game edition; on the wide spread of Russia.
