An interesting article has appeared on the official Star Wars: The Old Republic website. It’s completely about creating sound of this MMORPG. Sound designer Scott Morton tells us about the ideas of sound, how they are realized, and what eventually did they reached.

His story is accompanied by illustrations and videos, and at the end of the article follows a short interview, where Scott answers the questions of community. Looks like very informative.

By the way, next week there will be another interesting “making of” and interviews, this time dedicated to music of ST: The Old Republic. Considering extremely "star" composer staff (Peter McConnell, Lennie Moore, Mark Griskey and others), reading of that one would be much of exciting. Just as with Scott Morton, questions for the interview invents the community itself, so that if you have something to ask - go ahead on the forums.

Release date of SW: TOR is constantly shifting. At the moment this is the second half of this year.
