The debut trailer for the Gran Turismo adaptation, which is partly based on real events, has appeared online. The movie tells the story of a young fan of the Gran Turismo series who dreams of becoming a professional race car driver.

The director is Neil Blomkamp ("District 9", "Elysium", "Chappie"), and the main roles are played by Archie Madekwe, Orlando Bloom, and David Harbour. The music is composed by Lorne Balfe ("Mission: Impossible - Fallout", "Bad Boys for Life", "Top Gun: Maverick").

The premiere is scheduled for August 11, 2023.
