It is no secret Ubisoft became trendsetter for video game trailers. Just look at its Assassin’s Creed promo trailers. Always suited and surprising soundtrack, quality direction, editing and visual perfectionism – guys know how to do.

Who knows, maybe it’s influence of Ubisoft or just random coincidence but Call of Juarez: The Cartel, which is developed by Techland and published by the same Ubisoft, received brilliant debut trailer. Beat the Devil’s Tattoo from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club plays in background while trailer shows some action with commentary from (our thoughts) Duke Nukem’s voice Jon St. John.

It is the second memorable Techland video by the way. A pair weeks ago its dramatic Dead Island trailer hit gaming world like a storm and become one of revelations of this year. Following high success of the trailer it is soundtrack was released on Amazon in digital form.

The Cartel is out on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in summer.
