On November 20, Taito released the rhythm game Groove Coaster Zero for iOS worldwide. The soundtrack features a diverse line-up of new songs, some available as players progress, others are available to purchase as premium songs. While the majority of the tracks were composed by Taito&39;s in-house artists Hirokazu Koshio (aka COSIO) and Shohei Tsuchiya, several guests contributed tracks, including Shinji Hosoe, Masashi Hamauzu, Takeharu Ishimoto, Mitsuto Suzuki, YMCK, and Zeami. Note that a number of tracks were reprised from Groove Coaster and Music GunGun! 2 for the title.
On October 31, Zuntata Records will release a special album <a href="/redirect.php?link=http://zuntata.jp/lineup/zttl0068.html" target="_blank">COZMO</a> to commemorate 25 years of the Taito sound team. The regular edition will two discs, namely:
Disc 1: Future Disc - Features brand new original tracks from the 12 musicians
Disc 2: Legend Disc - Features selected tracks from Taito games composed by the 12 musicians
The limited edition will feature two additional discs:
Disc 3: Lab&39;-normal Limited 2 - Features rare tracks from modern and new games by Taito
Disc 4: Zuntata Night Special - Features a recording of a discussion between ex-Zuntata members on the Zuntata Night Ustream web show
The following twelve individuals will contribute both new compositions and game reprises to the release:
